There are a bunch of ways you can do this, as my children and I discovered this evening. They were having SO much fun helping me with this one! It is a recipe loosely based on a Whole Foods recipe shared by one of my very best friends 😉 Thanks Jen!
2-3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
1 c So Delicious Organic unsweetened coconut milk (or vanilla, or sweetened, or Soy or Almond milk.)..we are a dairy and soy free family, so we choose coconut milk, PLUS, it is thicker and yummier!
2 tbsp Organic Almond butter (I was almost out, so I used 1tbsp almond butter and a handful of almonds with a teaspoon of coconut oil)
1 packet truvia (if desired)
Throw it all in a blender, and blend it on low for a few seconds. stir with a spoon, then blend again. Stir again. Keep this up until you get the desired consistency. The bananas MUST be frozen, Serve IMMEDIATELY.
Other options: Add organic strawberries, or cacao nibs (75%dark choc or higher)..play around til you find what you’re looking for. This is SO fun for the kids!! AND it’s guilt-free dessert! YUMMY!!
